The Hilton family is coming to town. Mother and daughter trios, Kathy, Paris, and Nicky Hilton are set to co-host The Abbey Food & Bar’s 16th Annual Christmas in September Toy Drive benefitting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The public event sponsored by Ketel One, is a West Hollywood tradition that solicits thousands of toys for children in need during the holidays.
On Tuesday, September 21 from 6:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m., guests 21+ are simply required to bring an unwrapped toy for entry and a complimentary Ketel One beverage. Guests can walk the red carpet anytime from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. This year, the event is receiving a Hollywood glam upgrade with a private $500 ticketed one-hour VIP Meet and Greet reception with the Hiltons from 6:00 PM-7:00 PM, a live auction of select personal items donated by the Hilton family and a direct donation option to support CHLA. All proceeds received from VIP ticket sales, VIP table reservations and the live auction will be donated directly to the hospital. The annual event, which has been the largest of its kind to benefit CHLA, has donated tens of thousands of toys over the years.
“We are grateful to have Kathy, Paris and Nicky Hilton donating their time, resources and support to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for Christmas in September.” said David Cooley, CEO and Founder of The Abbey Food & Bar. “We were fortunate to keep our tradition alive during the pandemic last year, doing what we could virtually to help fill the CHLA toy chest. This year we are back stronger than ever with a trio of co-hosts loved from all over the world and hope we can all come together safely in-person to help replenish the hospital’s inventory with a festive event we’ve all grown to love over the years.”
“For 16 years, The Abbey has provided tremendous support to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Toy Program,” says Rosby Lamm, Manager of Volunteer Resources and Toy Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. “The Abbey’s annual Christmas in September Toy Drive has become the largest toy drive for CHLA and is reflective of The Abbey’s dedication and generosity in supporting our pediatric patients. We’re extremely grateful to The Abbey and its community for their continued support and generosity.”
