    Fred Segal Donates Valentine’s Day Proceeds to GrantLOVE Project

    Fred Segal on The Sunset Strip, at 8500 Sunset Boulevard, hosted artist and founder of grantLOVE, Alexandra Grant, and Marc Covitz, owner of andSons Chocolatiers, in celebration of Valentine’s Day. The retail store showcased a limited edition Valentine’s chocolate Collection featuring a box designed by Grant in support of the grantLOVE Project, which aims to support arts education and youth experiencing homelessness.

    Guests at the event enjoyed samplings of two chocolate flavors, Double Yuzu and Striped Hazelnut Gianduja, along with pink wine, while browsing the grantLOVE pop-up items. The pop-up included a new hoodie collaboration with A-Morir, throw blankets by Faribault Mill, and candles by Amber Sakai, as well as LOVE jewelry, hats, and books.

    Founded in 2008 by artist Alexandra Grant, grantLOVE raises awareness and funds for various art and social nonprofits through collaborative artworks and editions featuring Grant’s LOVE symbol. Through a partnership with Fred Gives, 10% of grantLOVE sales at Fred Segal will benefit nonprofits supporting arts education and youth experiencing homelessness.

    Fred Gives, part of Fred Segal’s philanthropic mission, aims to support the next generation of fashion designers, artists, and makers through education and cultural enrichment. The initiative seeks to work with like-minded partners to create opportunities for underserved communities.

    andSons Chocolatiers, originally opened in 1983 as Teuscher Chocolates & Café by Phil & Marc’s Covitz’s mother, was relaunched in 2018 as andSons Chocolatiers. The shop, located at 9548 Brighton Way in Beverly Hills, CA, offers a wide selection of chocolates, truffles, caramels, and nuts, using only the finest ingredients.

    The grantLOVE pop-up store will remain open until Feb 29, 2024, at Fred Segal, located at 8500 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90069.
