Photos taken by Bobby Trendy at 3:15 p.m., show a gutted but very clean retail space inside. “There was nothing to take in there,” Trendy tells WEHO TIMES. “All the yogurt machines, the potato chips, everything that could be lifted out of there is now gone.”

Yogurt Stop left West Hollywood at the end of September, marking the end of an era for yogurt lovers in WeHo—“Thank you for 15 years of friendship and support,” reads a post on their official Instagram account, October 1, 2023, the day before they closed. “We love you so much and appreciate you. We would love to be of service to you for the next 15 years, but as we don’t own the land, we don’t have a say in the matter. We love you!!! Come by tomorrow to say hello — not goodbye. We are part of our wonderful community and will always be around. We love you and, again, couldn’t have done it without your love and support.”

The frozen yogurt shop known for its pump-it-yourself concept and offering various flavors with creative names that tap into the WeHo community opened in 2009.

A For Lease sign by Southpark Group located on the building is offering the opportunity for a potential restaurant/cafe.

The motive for the vandalism is not yet known.

One of our unhoused neighbors did this, no doubt. Santa Monica Blvd. is a war zone.
