    PLANTA Teams with Oishii for February Menu Specials

    PLANTA, specializing in plant-based menus, has teamed with Oishii, the world’s largest indoor vertical strawberry farm, to offer a special menu featuring the Omakase strawberry. It includes the Oishii Omakase Berry Strudel, Strawberry Feels cocktail and a non-alcoholic First Straw beverage.


    Chef Suzanne Goin is offering a five-course Vday menu for dine-in and delivery at AOC. Diners can choose from a variety of dishes including lobster thermador for two, grilled ribeye for two,

    Spring vegetable tagine for two with a chocolate mascarpone tart for dessert, $150 per person, book at OpenTable.


    Delilah’s is offering a special three course plus menu including oysters, potato can caviar and truffled grilled cheese appetizers for the table as well as choices of beet salad, tuna crudo or steak tartare for starters; gnocchi, Wagyu filet mignon or King salmon for entrees and a brownie, ice cream sandwich or peanut butter and jelly mousse for dessert, $190 per person, special Love Hangover cocktail also offered, book at https://www.delilahrestaurants.com.

    El Torito and Acapulco (Available from February 14th – 17th): 

    El Torito is offering a 3-Course Menu for 2 for $55 including tortilla soup or a Caesar salad, an entrée from chicken, steak, or shrimp fajitas, fajitas duo, lemon butter salmon, or a macho combo with fire-roasted pasilla chile relleno, a chicken and sour cream enchilada, a beef barbacoa crispy taco, and a hand-made chicken tamale. Finish the meal with a shared dessert from mudd pie, deep fried ice cream, or cinnamon-crisp cheesecake.

    Acapulco is offering a 3-Course Sweetheart Menu for 2 for $55 including tortilla soup or a Caesar salad, an entrée from chicken, shrimp, or steak fajitas, fajitas duo, crab and shrimp enchiladas, or muy grande platter. Finish the meal with a shared dessert from Mrs. Field’s Sizzling Cookie, Oreo cookie ice cream torta, flan, or caramelo cheesecake.

    Getaway Packages and Staycations

    Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles Staycation Candlelit Romance Package

    Well I’m making my own Halal Beef & Scrimp Kabobs with Rice Pilaf, olive oil sautéed Vegetables and, Türkish Pita Bread with Humus. The formidable challenge I have ahead of me is finding someone willing to share it with considering that the overwhelming majority of people I’ve ever know, never want to hear back from me❗
