Flippers Restaurant has Soft Opening in West Hollywood

Flippers restaurant (not to be confused with Flipper’s Roller Rink), located at 1010 N Fairfax, recently had a soft opening in preparation for their grand opening on September 30 and October 1, 2023, from 8am to 4pm.

“January 2020 we finalized negotiations to bring the best pancakes🥞 in the world to LA,” reads a post by @flippersus on Instagram. “Fast forward 1 month and the pandemic hit. We panicked. No one knew what was going to happen. We had every right and excuse to back out, no one would blame us. 3.5+ years later, we are finally opening. Bringing a little bit of fluffy joy to the westside of LA. Come celebrate this special milestone with us on September 30th and Oct 1st from 8am – 4pm – our official grand opening!”

According to the post, the first 100 guests will receive gifts and tote bags as a big thank you. “Please share this post and tag your friends in LA – We will select 10 winners and their friends to join us for FREE brunch. Thank you for the ongoing support.

Flippers will flip pancakes and other breakfast items for breakfast and brunch with a plan to serve breakfast all day. The space offers indoor dining and an outdoor patio with high counters, and there’s also a takeout window.

“So, right now we have a soft opening, with limited hours from from 8am to 3pm,” one of the managers told WEHO TIMES. “This is the second location in the US. We have one in New York. We will have grand opening in West Hollywood on the last Saturday of this month. After the grand opening, we hope to be open seven days a week, but may be closed for one day to give our employees a break. Next month, our hours will be 7:30 to 5pm.
