Looks great!! I just told the homeless person who was collapsed at the end of my driveway to head there for free food, showers and a workout.
You are so strange. From the start you’ve had this weird vendetta against this gym. Why? Why do you care so much?
You are very sensitive. Are they paying you to promote the gym? You get defensive about every single negative comment. It’s just a gym for Gods sake. I have no vendetta against them. I doubt the few people that read my comments will be swayed one way or the other about JRF. I encourage every single person who is interested in JRF to try it out and decide for themselves whether they like it. Just because I don’t like people working out shirtless and sweating all over equipment doesn’t mean others feel the same way. Just because I don’t want… Read more »
I’m sensitive for pointing out your odd behavior? Okay lol.
“ don’t want to wait for someone who is using a particular piece of equipment”
Should know ALL about this if you go to Gold’s.
Went through today and it’s trendy AF. Not enough benches and crowded space with everyone working out (or trying to). Club music was fun but couldn’t hear my music in headphones. Also – don’t want or like the Instagram vibe and shirtless guys – not what I’m paying for.
100% pass
I went today and was pleasantly surprised. Really the only negative to me is the music is LOUDI MEAN NIGHTCLUB LOUD so even with high end headphones on you struggle to hear your music. Employees were all really nice and it’s a gigantic upgrade style wise from 24 Hour Fitness. It’s going to be very influencer heavy as right away 4 guys were working out with their shirts off(all looked great)with picture taking between sets so it’s kind of unlike Equinox in that sense that doesn’t really allow pictures. Lockers are very nice with the number combo locks which are… Read more »
I wonder if they have more equipment than 24-hour fitness? I did not like waiting to use the machines…also waiting behind someone who is waiting.
LA Fitness has at least 3 or 4 of the same machines, which meant you didn’t have to wait for the equipment.
Looks trendy though.
Go to the open house and see for yourself.
Not going to waste my time, since I know I won’t pay the 130.00 monthly fee.
Okay I went today. It’s very nice and trendy and shiny and new. However, just as I feared, there isn’t enough equipment.
But I like the decor and the vibe.
That’s my fear too, I’m gonna check that place out tomorrow to see if it’s worth it . Are you gonna join ? I’m LA F. And it has a lot of equipments there, but, not all I use. So, if this Jhon Reed has what I need, then I’ll join it .
Welcome to WEHO and thank you for investing in our city. This great gym costs 50% less a month than Equinox which is dated and overrated.
Is there a steam room because I wanna have some hanky-panky going on
No steam room. You can stay away
Looks sort of silly, but we’ll see. Too bad there are stacked small lockers in the locker room with minimal seating.
Equinox who?
This is unlike anything I expected. It’s so different from the DTLA and SMO gyms. It’s like a brand new car. You don’t want to touch it, unless risk scratching it. I remember the old gym well and I can’t get my bearing of where these rooms fit in the old gym.
It looks incredible! Yes, a bit on the tacky side but thats what they’re known for. Lots of bright colors and textures. I’m hoping it doesn’t get too packed this weekend.
Wow, what a gym. Certainly not the YMCA!
I never appreciated 24 Hour Fitness so much
LOL. Funny name, but are you being serious? 24 Hour was nowhere near this on its best day. That place was a dump. Why can’t we have anything nice without people ripping into it?
There’s plenty of “nice” gyms already in Weho. Would be nice to have an average, affordable gym. 24 Hour wasn’t a dump, the management just didn’t take care of it. Why should they when so many used it like a bathhouse.
This just simply isn’t the case. If there were so many nice gyms, Crunch and Equinox wouldn’t be packed to the brim ALL DAY long every day.
