On Friday, March 1, 2024, WEHO TIMES awarded two tickets to one lucky Madonna fan to see the Queen of Pop live in concert at the Kia Forum in Inglewood on their preferred night, as Madonna prepares to dazzle Los Angeles on March 4, 5, 7, 9, and 11. The lucky winner of our Madonna concert tickets giveaway, sponsored by Live Nation, was Betsy Martinez, a West Hollywood resident and business owner who co-owns Fan Girl Cafe at 8157 Santa Monica Blvd Ste A.

Fans were invited to share their love for Madonna in the comments section. The were encouraged to reminisce about favorite songs, or standout Madonna moments. Entries were collected from Instagram, Facebook, and our website, with each participant’s name printed and placed into a City of West Hollywood swag bag. The winner, selected via Instagram Live, was @betsymartinezz.

“Madonna holds a special place in my heart,” wrote Betsy in her entry. “As a kid, I was obsessed with her and watched her concerts on repeat. My very first concert was the Who’s That Girl tour at Dodger Stadium. I remember having nosebleeds but dancing my little 8-year-old heart out alongside my sister @melinda_julia. Nearly 40 years later, and I’m ready to do it again. Love so many of her songs, but my favorites are ‘Live to Tell,’ ‘Dress You Up,’ ‘Like a Prayer,’ and ‘Keep It Together.’ Ahh, too many. Anyhoo, can’t wait to get into the groove next week.”

Betsy, who is married to her wife Cynthia Temblador, decided to honor her sister by taking her to the concert, since she gave her sis a shoutout in her entry.
