The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are currently investigating the stabbing death of a man in West Hollywood this morning. The incident occurred on 1100 block of Hacienda Place in West Hollywood on Monday, June 18, 2018, at 6:54 a.m. The adult male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
“I went over to talk to the officers this morning about 10:30. The officer told me they were investigating a death in the building,” said West Hollywood resident and WEHO TIMES contributor Mike Pingel, who happens to live across the street from the crime scene. “At the time there were only three squad cars, but now it’s a huge crime scene. They sectioned-off the area with yellow tape around the building. Now there are about eight cop cars and unmarked cars in front of the building. They put up a tent.”

KTLA 5 reports that authorities received a call about a person who might have fallen out of a window. The man was found dead in between two buildings in the area. According to Lt. Derrick Alfred, there were signs of some type of struggle or scuffle. The incident may have occurred over night and the body wasn’t discovered until Monday morning.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released and there is no additional information available at this time as the story develops.
