    City of Beverly Hills to Host Inaugural Pride Night June 2nd

    The City of Beverly Hills is hosting inaugural Pride Night event and festivities to kick off Pride Month on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 7p.m. – 10p.m, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Promenade Terrace, 9390 N. Santa Monica Blvd, Beverly Hills (Self-Parking is available at 450 N. Crescent Drive).

    The outdoor event will welcome, honor and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ Community with a special evening hosted by noted musician Tolliver and KCRW host Novena Carmel and the region’s leading LGBTQIA+ performers.

    The City of Beverly Hills’ Community Services Department, in partnership with the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, the City’s Arts and Culture and Human Relation Commissions, and Next Beverly Hills Committee, will launch its first outdoor Pride celebration in honor of the LGBTQIA+ community.

    Beverly Hills Pride Night will feature live entertainment, hosted by noted musician Tolliver and KCRW host Novena Carmel, celebrating diverse families and community. Entertainment will include a roster of the region’s leading LBGTQIA+ performers including musical artist Zee Machine, actress Bri Giger, musician and performance artist Polartropica, musician and soloist San Cha, musician and performance artist Jeshua, drag artist and performer Miss Barbie Q and DJ THEYTEE,

    The City of Beverly Hills’ inaugural Pride celebration is part of the City’s Embrace & Celebrate Culture Initiative, an inter-commission collaboration of the City of Beverly Hills’ Arts and Culture and Human Relations Commissions, Next Beverly Hills Committee and the Community Services Department. This year, festivities will expand on this initial effort bringing special lighting to City Hall, and events and activities to the City. Beverly Hills Pride 2022 festivities are a natural progression of the City’s commitment to, and support for, embracing and celebrating cultural diversity, equity, inclusion and providing greater visibility and recognition of LGBTQIA+ community members and visitors as pa rt of this celebration.

    Kudos to Beverly Hills for hosting this event. I’m sorry to miss it as I will will be out of town.
