City of WeHo continues its tradition of joining hundreds of communities across the country in a National Day of Service to commemorate the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day federal holiday by providing two opportunities for community members to make an impact — 1) a clothing drive event at the West Hollywood City Council Chambers for donations to the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Youth Center on Highland; and 2) free Cityline Commuter Special Service, which will run between the West Hollywood Library and Hollywood & Highland for Metro Red Line transportation to the Women’s March in Downtown Los Angeles.
1) On Saturday, January 19, 2019, there will be a 2019 West Hollywood Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service event in which the City will be collecting donations of new and used clothing and accessories for the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Youth Center on Highland.
