Cher’s Cherlato ice cream truck is coming to West Hollywood! The Cher-inspired gelato pop-up (yes, THAT Cher) will be at thee Abbey WeHo at 692 N Robertson Blvd, TONIGHT, August 4, 2023, from 5pm – 11pm.
In mid-July, the singer announced in her official Instagram account that she was launching her own line of gelato. “Yep, this is real… I’m launching my gelato,” she informed her fans. “Watch out LA,”
The Cherlato ice cream truck is traveling around Los Angeles County to different locations every day throughout the summer months so everyone can get a taste of the frozen treats, according to a release. Fans can track the Cherlato truck on their website, cherlato.com.
The Cherlato can only be purchased from the official Cherlato Ice Cream in Los Angeles.
According to their website, “Cherlato goes to great lengths to use local, small-farm grown ingredients, many of them sourced from Southern California. We take pride in selecting farm partners who honor their environmental impact and share in our ethos as a brand. Our flavor research begins with visits to local farms, artisanal suppliers, and LA markets. Cherlato is grounded in seasonal ingredients and community partnerships, as we strive to learn from each other, share, and champion what arises. Our serving cups are 100% recycled and made from 100% recycled paper, our spoons are 100% sustainable bamboo, and our napkins are made from a recycled, biodegradable post-consumer fiber.”
Cher and her partner Giapo Grazioli collaborated to come up with flavors that include the “Snap Out of It! Kefir and Cardamom,” Breakfast at Cher’s Coffee & Donuts” (that gets topped with an actual glazed donut) and “Chocolate XO Cher”.
The “If I Could Turn Back Time” singer also concocted a flavor called “SoCal’s Coldest Avocado on Toast,” which features avocados and crunchy bread crumbs. Then there is the vegan creation called “LA, I Love You” made with vibrantly colored pluots to symbolize the Lakers’ colors.
Cones start at $8, but the toppings plus toppings which is bound to run up the bill. There is also the more luxurious edible gold cone for $10 more.
I love ice cream and I love Cher! Wish we could get her ice cream in Chicago.
What the weho times is not tellting you is that the Golden cone is $18.00. Then they want to upsell you with a $3.50 donut and a $3.00 water to wash all that sugar down. I got the coffee ice cream cone and could not finish it it was so sweet.
