The Bullet Bar joins CORE to host PLEASE POKE ME, a COVID-19 testing and vaccination event to help the community get educated, vaccinated and to promote safety. The mobile event will take place in front of The Bullet Bar, at 10522 Burbank Boulevard, in North Hollywood, Saturday 28, 2021, 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Anyone who needs to be vaccinated, can do it free of charge at the PLEASE POKE ME! vaccination event. On-site Covid testing and information about COVID-19 will also be offered free of charge. In addition, anyone who gets vaccinated at this event for the first time will receive a $25 gift card to the Bullet Bar. It’s their way of saying thank you for doing your part to help end this pandemic.
“I think for many people who have chosen not to get the vaccine yet, they have legitimate fear of the unknown,” said Gabriel Green, Executive Producer of Green Mirror Entertainment,  and one of the sponsors. “When something is new, it can often be scary, especially when it comes to medications. With this event, it is about educating the community about the vaccine and hopefully alleviating those fears. It’s about helping people realize the vaccine is helping to save lives and prevent people from experiencing deadly symptoms that Covid-19 can cause. A healthy community is one that can live to fight another day”
The Pfizer vaccine will be administered at this event. Individuals can receive Pfizer if their first shot was Moderna. However, Pfizer should not be mixed with the first shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or Astra Zeneca. The Covid test has a 24-hour period for results
