Bourbon Steak Offers A Variety of Choices for dineL.A. Week

Michael Mina’s Glendale steakhouse, Bourbon Steak, has launched their new menu for dineL.A. which will be available the last two weeks of January, from January 17 through the 31st.

Carnivores will especially love the menu, which features three different beef options for main courses. Appetizer choices include a little gem lettuce salad, endive and radish salad or spinach garganelli. Main courses include a 10-ounce Wagyu sirloin cap, flat iron steak, filet mignon or salmon with forbidden rice. Accompaniments can be purchased for various prices and include a horseradish crust, smoked marrow butter, grilled onions, roasted bone marrow, asparagus, blue cheese onion, black truffle butter, grilled prawns, Alaskan king crab or Perigourdine sauce. Dessert choices include a funnel cake cheesecake with apples and citrus caramel and a root beer float.

Diners can opt for the prix fixe dineL.A. menu or order off the regular menu with highlights including the duck spring rolls with ginger chili sauce, the hot miso buttered shellfish platter, a blue cheese wedge salad, lobster pot pie, a dukkah spiced lamb shank and a variety of steaks.

The cocktail and wine list is extensive and features seasonal specialties the Getting Figgy with It with fig and thyme infused buffalo trace bourbon, honey and lemon; the Caribbean Dream with blanco tequila, anchor eyes giffard Caribbean pineapple and tiki bitters and the Dr. Feelgood with Booker’s bourbon, vanilla de Madagascar angostura and Dr. Pepper syrup. For serious whisky fans there are a bounty of flights available for tastings as well as a Japanese Whisky Ceremony presented tableside and serviced with an ice sphere and pairing essence.

The space is both contemporary and classic at the same time. Housed on the corner of Colorado Avenue and Brand Boulevard and anchoring one end of the Americana mall, the atmosphere is airy and open with a modern dark wood interior, long spacious bar section, round tan leather booths, and an indoor/outdoor patio. Bourbon Steak is located at 237 S. Brand Boulevard in Glendale; reservations can be made at 818.839.4130.
