Justin Queso’s closed in late September. The restaurant was co-owned by actor and restaurateur Shane West (“A Walk to Remember”, “What We Do is Secret”, “ER”). A sign posted on the restaurant patio announced that the restaurant was rebranding as The Golden Sombrero, which turned out to be a hoax (in baseball, a golden sombrero is a player’s inglorious feat of striking out four times in a single game).

More details will be posted on Blue Birdy as they become available.

I do hope it is new operators as Justin’s Queso was just not good. This is a great location for a well-run business with good food, so best of luck.
