In the spirit of promoting good health, Capitol Drugs/Power Zone and West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce (WHCC) are set to host their bi-annual Sample Saturday & Health Fair on Santa Monica Boulevard on Saturday, October 21st, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Over hundred-fifty health and fitness vendors, local businesses and community organizations are expected at this year’s health fair. There will be booths throughout the sidewalk alongside Santa Monica Boulevard between Westbourne Drive and North West Knoll Drive. The public will have the opportunity to sample products from various companies and organizations. There will be free giveaways and information about the participating businesses. Services will include Health Screenings by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, information on preventative care, HIV and AIDS, PrEP, treatment programs for drug and alcohol abuse, skin care and more.
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is providing COACH for kids and their Families. COACH is a program of the Cedars-Sinai Maxine Dunitz Children’s Health Center. it provides no-cost health and social services to underserved communities in Los Angeles.
The event is free to the public and is expected to attract more than two-thousand attendees.
