The Beverly Center has scheduled several events in celebration of Pride Month. There was the lighting of the exterior with the rainbow colors at the beginning of the month, a tradition that began last year. Beverly Center’s Pride lights were installed as part of the center’s $500 million re-imagination that was completed by the holiday season of 2018. The exterior mesh, over which the lights are projected, covers 95,000 sq. ft. More than 670 custom projectors and over 34,000 LED diodes are able to create four billion colors – more than the human eye can distinguish. The Beverly Center lights the building in many colors throughout the year including July 4th, Halloween, winter holiday, Valentine’s Day and more.
The mall hosted a book signing with Queer Eye’s Tan France, Author of NATURALLY TAN: A MEMOIR. First 200 guests received a complimentary copy of his book on June 11. And guests who spend $250 or more at Beverly Center through Sunday, June 23 and show valid same day receipts to Concierge, can receive a Friends of Beverly Center Valet Card, while supplies last (full rules here: https://bit.ly/2F22Xvf).
