La Brea Bakery and Chef Nancy Silverton Announce New Breads Celebrating 30th Anniversary
La Brea Bakery and Chef Nancy Silverton have launched La Brea Bakery Founders, a line of new breads to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary. The new breads include Pain Levain, a classic sourdough; Sprouted Multigrain & Seed, a sourdough with sunflower and pumpkin seeds and Country White Batard, a sourdough made with whole wheat flour and bran.
Mother’s Day Brunches and Celebrations
Burbank’s The Castaway’s will offer brunch with a view from 9 am to 3 pm; Silver Lake’s Alimneto will debut their Italian inspired Sunday brunch on Mother’s Day; the Waldorf Astoria’s Jean George Beverly Hills will offer a special brunch and their La Prairie Spa will offer treatment packages; The Montage Beverly Hills will offer a brunch at The Restaurant and at The Rooftop Grill as well as a complimentary glass of champagne for mom with each spa treatment and Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel Air is offering a Mother’s Day brunch with flowers for mom on the lawn and an afternoon tea service.
Granville Pasadena is Now Open
The fifth location of the Granville restaurant chain has opened in Pasadena with an indoor-outdoor bar and a rooftop space featuring a fireplace, cocktails and a view of the mountains.
Los Feliz Atrium Serving Up Pre Concert Menu
The Atrium in Los Feliz has launched a pre-concert menu for guests heading to the Greek Theatre for a show. The three course “Greek” menu is available from 5 to 7 pm at $35 per person.
