In this segment of Ask Ken, a WEHO TIMES reader asks intervention specialist and addiction expert Ken Seeley, some questions about his search for Mr. Perfect.
“I date a lot of people and as soon as I find a flaw, it shuts me down and makes me want to run. Am I being too picky? Is it West Hollywood? Or is it me?
Ask Ken is our new recovery/relationship segment where readers have an opportunity to “Ask Ken” anything in relation to love, sex, relationships and the addictions that can sometimes come attached with these subject matters. Readers are encouraged to ask (anonymously if they choose) about drug addiction, food addiction, alcoholism or any subject that deals with gay men and their connection between meth and sex. No question is off limits.
Seeley has been involved professionally and personally in recovery since 1989. He applies his experience to help transform the lives of those who suffer from the disease of addiction. He’s changed the lives of thousands of people through his work and he’s had the unique opportunity to reach millions of viewers to educate them about addiction through the television show Intervention on A&E.
Seeley is joined by WEHO TIMES contributor Jonathan Bierner via a collection of video blogs.
“I hope these videos will help people identify there is a problem,” Seeley told WEHO TIMES. “A lot of times people don’t think there is a problem. They wonder why things aren’t working for them and can’t figure out why. They can’t identify that they have a sexual addiction, or maybe it’s not about sex and there is a love addiction. It is about looking internally, because the external things don’t work.”
Readers are encouraged to ask a question in the comments section of this article, or they can email their question to [email protected]
