Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are opening a new sandwich shop in West Hollywood called Something About Her, at 640 N Robertson Blvd. The new restaurant is moving into the former home of Flower Burger, which closed in the summer of 2022.
A moving van was spotted in front of the storefront on Friday. Movers were carrying in chairs, patio furniture, kitchen appliances and light fixtures. Workers were fixing chandeliers, working on signage, and installing glass shelving throughout the day.
Madix told People Magazine that she thought the space would be open by this summer. According to one of the workers, the sandwich shop may open as soon as mid-to-late June.

Something About Her is also not far from Tom Tom restaurant belonging to their exes Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz. News of the restaurant venture came out in the midst of scandal where Sandoval reportedly had an affair with Raquel Leviss.
The affair came to light at the same time that Vanderpump’s two highly profiled West Hollywood restaurants, Pump Lounge, at 8948 Santa Monica Blvd., and Tom Tom Restaurant, at 8932 Santa Monica Blvd., both had their liquor licenses suspended on Wednesday, March 8.
Maddix And Malone launched a Something About here online store back in March, which features an array of sweatshirts, T-shirts, hats, and phone cases, all of which retail for under $50. They monetized the restaurant while it sat empty for almost a year.

Viewers of the show got a glimpse inside where guests tasted various subs, including a Greek salad sandwich and a spicy turkey sandwich. The signage was cryptic in the window. We now know that the space is a new restaurant with a Vanderpump connection.
The place has a few weeks to be ready for opening, but people are already stopping by to take selfies in front of the empty space with the signage linking them to Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney.

I was thinking the same thing about the name of the shop. If people are in town and looking fir a place to grab a sandwich they’re not going to think to stop there. Sounds like the name of a romance novel or that movie that was out years ago. Maybe a woman’s clothing shop , but even that is stretching it. I’m surprised Lisa didn’t help them with the name. Maybe she was afraid to. They seem like they would be a bit childish in accepting even constructive criticism.

Well, Katie and Ariana are all about wokeism and feminine power…Katie has spent a decade emasculating Tom every chance she got. Ariana, heartbroken Ariana is re coupled up and raking it in while she degenerates Sandoval into a psycho home.
She’d be stupid not to take those endorsement deals.

I’m so happy for Ariana and Katie! I think Tom Scandavol has been castrized enough now though. Yes he’s “a worm with a moustache” but to keep beating up on him serves no purpose. This sandwich shop is just a storyline for the show. It’s conveniently located just down the block from SUR and Tom Tom for the convenience of VPR tourist/fans. With Pump gone and none of the main characters working at SUR, the show needed a new shooting venue in an attempt to keep the show fresh. The problem they can’t overcome is just how boring Katie and Ariana are to watch on television. In fact, with the exception of Sheanna, all of the women on VPR are extremely boring people.
They are not boring. Just cool down to earth women just trying to make a living and capitalize on their fame.
What about Lala?
With all due respect, you have no idea how reality television is produced. Production wouldn’t rent a space, probably a very expensive space, just to have a talking point or storyline for Vanderpump Rules. And, of course, it’s located near LVP’s other restaurants! They wanted to open a sandwich shop, what a great location to scoop up tourists visiting the other restaurants neaby because they are fans of the show! And by the way, a good cast has a mix of different personalities. I wish them well.
