    Celebrate on April 9 at Chef Suzanne Goin and restaurateur Caroline Styne’s famous small plate eateries. Offering brunch and dinners at both locations and indoor and outdoor dining. Brunch includes Spanish fried chicken and waffles, vanilla French toast, crab omelets and other favorites as well as specialty cocktails, brunch served from 10am to 2:30pm, dinner from 5pm to 10pm, reservations at Open Table.

    THE PEPPERMINT CLUB

    The Peppermint Club in West Hollywood will be releasing 10 new cocktails to the menus priced $18 each:

    • Go-Go Dancer – tequila, kiwi, lemon, lime, orgeat, shaken and stretched out with sparkling soda.
    • JoJo – vodka, strawberry, st.germain, lemon, served up and topped with sparkling wine

    • Peppermint Twist – vodka, combier elicser, lemon, charreau, menthe, shaken and served up

    • Eight Miles High – gin, pineapple, amaro montenegro, liquor 43, lime shaken and topped with sparkling soda

    • Sound of Silence – tequila, watermelon, amaro nonino, raspberry shaken and served up

    • Ring of Fire -tequila, green chili, mango, piment d’espelette, lime shaken and served up

    • Cinnamon Girl – rum, spiced apple, grapefruit, lime, falernum shaken and served on the rocks

    • Dazed & Confused – mezcal, lemon, agave, ginger turmeric, shaken and served on the rocks

    • Freak Flag – cognac, tequila, passion fruit, banana liqueur lime, falernum, shaken and served up

    • Venus in Furs – gin, campari, cynar, sweet & bianco vermouths shaken and served on the rocks

    Delilah, which is actually located in West Hollywood, will be adding 9 new cocktails to the menu priced at $20 each: Drake Spritz – vietti moscato d’asti, peachello and haku vodka mixed and sparkling soda served in a wine glass & topped with sparkling soda

    • Lucid Dream – gin, grapefruit, orgeat, lemon, spiced hibiscus, shaken and stretched out with sparkling soda

    • La Madrina – white rum, mango, lime, angostura bitters shaken and served long with ginger beer

    • Parkerized Pistol -gin, sauvignon blanc, granny smith apple, kiwi, lemon shaken and served on the rocks

    • Killer Bee Sting – tequila, mezcal, lemon, ancho chili, honey shaken and served on the rocks

    • Bad Karma – bourbon, pineapple, allspice dram, lime

    • Jimmy Cooks – cognac, lillet rouge, passion fruit, creme de coca, lemon shaken and served up

    • Don’t @ Me – malt whiskey, combier elixir, sweet vermouth, peychaud bitters, stirred and served on the rocks

    • Dirty Mocha – tequila, cold brew, coffee liqueur, chocolate shaken and served up with a cinnamon and smoked paprika dust

    Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, Beverly Hills
    The elegant Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills will offer an Easter Brunch at Culina on April 9 from 10am to 3pm featuring made to order eggs and omelets and specialty pastries as well as savory items, they also have a special children’s buffet and decadent desserts, $160 per person, reserve at 310.273.2222. They are also hosting a Passover Dinner from April 5 through April 13 from 5 to 10pm, with a three-course prix fixe menu including appetizer options including charoset salad, chicken liver pate or matzo ball soup, entrée’s including roasted Jidori chicken or brisket and a coconut pannacotta for dessert,  $79 per person, reservations at 310.860.4000.

    Sofitel Los Angeles, Beverly Hills
    Celebrate Easter Sunday  on April 9 at the reinvented Estérel at the Sofitel Los Angeles. Their prix fixe menu includes a variety of brunch dishes and colorful brunch-friendly cocktails including their limited time Faberge Egg, White Peach Bellini and White Sangria, seatings at 11am and 12:30pm, $70 adults, $35 children, reserve on Open Table.

    SALT, Marina Del Rey
    Head to beautiful Marina Del Rey to indulge at SALT at the Marina del Rey hotel offering up  breakfast stations; a pantry, bagel, fruit and hummus display and a huge dessert selection. Two seatings, from 10am to noon and 1pm to 3pm, $125 for adults and $55 for children. Reservations at Open Table.

    BOA Steakhouse, West Hollywood, Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach
    BOA will be offering a special Sunday Brunch Buffet on April 9, including brunch classics, a seafood bar, carving station and BOA menu items for $95 per person. Brunch will be offered from 10am to 3pm, reservations at https://www.boasteak.com.

    Waldorf Astoria, Beverly Hills
    On Sunday, April 9, experience luxury this Easter at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. Join us in the hotels’ Astor Ballroom for live music, gourmet chef-led action stations and mimosa and Bloody Mary bars. There’s also an Easter egg hunt and the Easter Bunny will attend, seatings at 11am and 2pm, $225 for adults and $95 for children. There’s also a 3-course prefix menu brunch at Jean-Georges restaurant from noon to 4pm, $145 per adult and $65 for children. Reservations at Open Table.

    Hotel Casa del Mar, Santa Monica
    Celebrate at the beach on April 9 at Hotel Casa del Mar’s special Easter brunch by the sea with oysters, house cured salmon gravlax flatbread, crab cake eggs benedict and other delicious dishes. Easter brunch is  from 10am to 4:30pm, $125 per person, book through Open Table.

    Celebrate National Burrito Day at El Pollo Loco

    BJ’S Revitalizes Santa Ana Basketball Court
    Celebrate the unveiling of a new refurbished basketball court in Santa Ana on April 4 from 2 to 4:30pm. BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse helped with the restoration of the court at Portola Park, featuring a new large-scale mural. The new court is refurbished with new blacktop, nets and backboards. On April 4, BJ’s will celebrate by giving away signature dishes and Pizookies.

    RAW WINE LA Returns to LA
    RAW WINE LA, bringing the world’s largest network of low-intervention organic and natural wines and growers to LA, will take place April 23-24 at City Market Social House, tickets start at $30 at https://www.rawwine.com.

    Coolhaus Launches Dairy Free Horchata Sammie
    Coolhaus, the famous ice cream brand, has launched their new Dairy Free Horchata Sammies featuring dairy free horchata rice milk and cinnamon ice cream between two snickerdoodle cookies, a 9 pack is $9.99 at Costco.

    Baskin-Robbins Launches New PB’n J Flavor
    Baskin-Robbins has launched their April flavor of the month. The new PB ‘n J with peanut butter and grape jelly swirls is available throughout April as well as new non-dairy smoothies and a Turn the Tassel Cake with a graduation cap topper.

    Viceroy Santa Monica Hosts Thor’s Skyr Bar Pop Up for Earth Day
    The Viceroy Santa Monica is hosting a special Thor’s Skyr Bar pop up in honor of Earth Day on April 22 from 8am to 11am. Guests will be able to experience the first ever Skyr Bar in the U.S. Thor’s Skyr is a protein packed dairy product made using traditional Icelandic methods. Fresh blended smoothies will be available at the event.

    NikuX Opens at Wilshire Grand
    The new Japanese upscale steakhouse Niku X has opened at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown LA. Niku X alters the perception of the classic yakiniku, a traditional Japanese technique utilized to grill meats. Located in Suite 212 of Wilshire Grand, reservations at 323.920.0302.

    Acapulco Launches New Menu Items
    Acapulco restaurants has launched new menu seasonal menu items and cocktails including a spicy pina margarita, Mexican pizza and a fajita salad. Available at Glendale, Costa Mesa, Downey and Long Beach Acapulco’s.

    Rooftop Market at Broken Shaker
    On April 1, Broken Shaker at Freehand LA will offer a rooftop market showcasing local vendors with poolside sounds by DJ Diego Guerrero and will also offer drink specials. The event will take place from noon to 5pm at Broken Shaker at Freehand Los Angeles.
