    Another Three-Car Collision Shuts Down Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood

    A three-car collision shut down Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood. This time the car crash occurred at the intersection of Santa Monica Blvd and Kings Rd in WeHo’s mid-city area on Friday night, at roughly 5:30pm. West Hollywood Sheriff deputies were on the scene. The eastbound lane was cut off to moving traffic during the investigation which lasted about two hours.

    According to a witness, a grey Honda HR-V making a left turn swerved into another car’s lane on Santa Monica Blvd and caused a three vehicle collision after losing control of the vehicle and abruptly pressing on the brakes. The grey Honda was immobile, a black Nissan was totaled, and a black Mercedes had its back-end smashed, but was able to drive away from the scene. Both immobile vehicles were towed.

    No injuries were reported for this accident.

    This car crash marks the third vehicle collision on Santa Monica Blvd this week within a one-mile radius.

    Earlier in the week, a West Hollywood Sheriff’s SUV involved traffic collision shut down the intersection of Santa Blvd and San Vicente Blvd on Tuesday Morning. The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station released an advisory message warning community members of traffic alerts in the area and advised commuters to take an alternate route during the road closure while LASD conducted an investigation.

    There was another car collision at the same intersection of Santa Monica Blvd and San Vicente Blvd, in the heart of West Hollywood’s LGBT Rainbow District Wednesday evening, involving three vehicles. The crash shut down the Santa Monica Boulevard westbound lane and the San Vicente southbound lane. The accident happened a little after 7 p.m.

    Los Angeles Fire Department first responders and West Hollywood Sheriff deputies were on the scene. Two individuals were transported to a nearby hospital. The severity of their injuries is not yet known.

    According to video footage, a white Chevy Cruze LT sped through a red light on Santa Monica Blvd, heading east, and hitting a white SUV Explorer, which slammed into a dark grey Tesla that was waiting to make a left turn at Santa Monica Boulevard. SUV spun at the intersection and ended on the northeast corner of Santa Monica Blvd.

    Another one? How hard is it to not drink & drive??? Call a cab or use Lyft/Uber???
