Another Brazen Armed Robbery in West Hollywood Targets Two Outside of Craig’s Restaurant

Los Angeles County Sheriffs are looking for any information leading to three armed male suspects who robbed a man and a woman outside of Craig’s Restaurant, at 8826 Melrose Ave, in West Hollywood, on Thursday, August 3, 2023, a little past midnight.

According to reports, a man and a woman were getting ready to leave the Craig’s restaurant a little past midnight on Thursday morning when they were approached by two male suspects armed with semi automatic handguns. They demanded their jewelry and after a brief altercation, the suspects snatched a Rolex watch from one of the victims and the two suspects jumped into a white sedan driven by a third suspect. They got away.

The victims were not injured in the altercation.

This latest violent robbery could be connected to a previous robbery that was reported this week, but happened on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 12:38 a.m. A man was walking on the sidewalk, when a black SUV stopped in front of him and three suspects armed with handguns and a rifle exited the SUV, pushed the victim against a fence, and took his cell phone and wallet. This incident occurred on the 800 block of Larrabee Street, not far from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station.
