Robert Ferri, known to many in the gay community as adult film actor Collin Stone, passed away this past Saturday, September 14, 2019. The cause of his death is respiratory arrest due to complications with pneumonia and a battle with lymphoma. He was pronounced dead at 3pm at Lennox Hill Hospital in New York. He was 49 years old.
Under the Collin Stone persona, Ferri starred in several films for Titan Men, Catalina and Chanel 1 Releasing. He was nominated for two GRABBY Awards in 2013. His career in gay porn was short-lived but during his tenure, he managed to work with some big names in the industry like gay adult film director Chi Chi LaRue and gay adult film star and producer Trenton Ducati.
A source tells WEHO TIMES that he struggled with health issues and that he was diagnosed with a rare case of lymphoma the day before he was pronounced dead. He requested that he be buried with his parents who are both deceased. He is survived by his older sister Carol and his niece Danielle. According to our source, he died with $250 to his name.
His niece has set up a GoFund page to help cover funeral costs. She is scheduled to claim his body today.
“We would like to send him off to his final resting place, with a simple burial service, and afternoon brunch,” she posted on the page. “Unfortunately, this was completely unexpected and sudden, and we need to raise money to help with costs. We appreciate from the bottom of our hearts any amount that can be donated to give him a beautiful send off.”
As of the posting of this piece the GoFund account has raised $760.00 of the $8,000 goal to help cover funeral costs.

Rob was a very big part of my life. When we separated, I always wondered what happened to him. Just now seeing this and really saddened by this news. You know what is not news though? The inclusion that all he had was $250 to his name. No context that he gave so much of his personal time and money to different charities and organizations. What a terrible write up for a very dear human being.
