ABC Suspends Liquor Licenses at Lisa Vandepump’s Pump Lounge and Tom Tom Restaurant in West Hollywood

It appears someone forgot to pay their liquor license fees at two highly profiled West Hollywood restaurants partly owned by Reality TV Star and animal rights activist Lisa Vanderpump. According to the most recent license details under California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC), the liquor licenses for Pump Lounge, located at 8948 Santa Monica Blvd., and Tom Tom Restaurant and Bar, located down the street at 8932 Santa Monica Blvd., both had their liquor licenses suspended as of yesterday, Wednesday, March 8, 2023,

ABC states that it can take up to six weeks for expiration date updates after fee waiver or renewal fee is submitted, so it’s possible the payments have already been made and it may be businesses as usual at both restaurants, however currently both PUMP Lounge and Tom Tom Restaurant and Bar have a hold as of March 8th. The hold is described as a B/E Collections Suspension.

Lisa Vanderpump owns Pump Lounge with her husband, longtime restaurateur Ken Todd. It is located in the heart of West Hollywood on the south east corner of Santa Monica and Robertson Boulevards. It opened in West Hollywood in May, 2014 to a slew of reality TV personalities.

Tom Tom Restaurant had a soft opening on July 2018 and a grand opening on July 2018. Vanderpump and Todd teamed up with Junior Partners Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz. It was Voted Best Bar in Southern California by Los Angeles Travel Magazine.

Both restaurants have a big weekend coming up with the 95th Academy Awards being being presented on Sunday, March 12, 2023, in a ceremony held by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The awards will honor films released in 2022. The event will be televised in the U.S. by ABC and will result in a long list of Academy Awards parties after the ceremony throughout Los Angeles, Hollywood and West Hollywood… so they may want to get their newly suspended liquor license situated.

Attempts to reach both restaurants for comment were unsuccessful as of the publishing of this piece.
